About the Company
Established in 2018, Modern Bus Company (MBC) is a joint venture led by Nesma Co. Ltd. and the official operator of the Makkah Public Bus Transport Program. The company operates the Kingdom’s first commercial public bus system, managing a fleet of 400 buses across 12 routes and 450 stops in Makkah City. Through partnerships with international public transport operators, including TCC, MBC delivers a modern, technology-driven bus network that provides safe, reliable and affordable transportation for visitors.
